Development Operations Lead Movement 4 Black Lives Inc.
Movement for Black Lives (M4BL) was founded in December 2014 as a space for Black organizations across the country to debate and discuss the political conditions at the time and develop shared assessments of which political interventions were necessary to achieve key policy, cultural, and political wins.
M4BL has achieved a lot in its relatively short existence, but one of the biggest challenges has been building a fundraising program and a culture of philanthropy from scratch.
Many individuals across the world believed in M4BL so much that they gave without being solicited. But how does an organization go from starting from scratch — or, in this case, fundraising from unsolicited funds — to having a robust major gift program? Discover how you can adapt M4BL’s building fundraising success using wealth screening data to better understand and engage your constituents, and learn about a custom model that indicates how likely one of your constituents is to make a major gift.
Learning Objectives:
Build up a major gift program using wealth screening technology
Gain new strategies for building a major gift pipeline
