Lauren is the director of digital advertising at the Natural Resources Defense Council where she brings over 15 years of experience managing research, strategy, and implementation hundreds of awareness, persuasion, and acquisition advertising campaigns. Prior to NRDC, she served as a media director for several consultancies, leading fully integrated digital, ad ops, social, and traditional planning teams, crafting campaigns for non-profit organizations such as the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Emily's List, and the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) as well as corporate clients AIG, PwC, and Viacom Networks (MTV, MTV2, Logo). Lauren’s drive to help create a more equitable and sustainable future influenced her to earn her M.S. in Sustainable Mobilities from the Nürtingen-Geislingen University in Germany in 2023. Originally from California, Lauren conducted her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles where she graduated with a B.A. in Sociology.
