Menaka Chandurkar (she/her) is Director of Strategy at Big Duck, a worker-owned communications agency for nonprofits. Menaka has 20 years’ experience in donor engagement; she started her career at WITNESS, where she learned the importance of trauma-informed practices while working in human rights video advocacy. Since then, Menaka has held development, communications, and community education roles at a range of nonprofits. In her current role, Menaka helps nonprofit clients advance their missions through thoughtful branding, strategic communications planning, and capacity building. Menaka has an MS in public policy from Carnegie Mellon and a BFA in film and television from NYU.
