Heather Henry is the Vice President of Development at the National Domestic Violence Hotline, where she leads strategic philanthropy programs that ensure advocates are available 24/7, 365 days a year to support millions of victims and survivors of abuse, and their loved ones. A fiercely optimistic nonprofit leader, Heather is passionate about building connections and driving transformative change to create communities where everyone can thrive.
With over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, Heather has focused her career on human services and social justice organizations. Her expertise includes strategic fundraising, major gifts, campaigns, donor relations, and leading teams to achieve impactful results. At The Hotline, Heather has helped drive significant growth in donor outreach and individual giving, advancing critical programs for survivors.
Heather also serves as Chapter President of the Austin Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), where she champions ethical fundraising and supports the local nonprofit community. A native Texan, she holds a Master of Public Affairs from The LBJ School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
