Janelle serves as the Executive Director of Why Not You Foundation, a nonprofit founded by Russell Wilson and Ciara. The Foundation is dedicated to fighting cyclical poverty by combating inequities youth face in the space health and education.

Prior, Janelle served as a nonprofit development leader for two highly recognized nonprofits, Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Make-A-Wish America. After nearly 20-years in the NGO space, Janelle decided to become an entrepreneur and open her own social impact consultancy. As a consultant, Janelle supported nonprofits in their infancy, while serving as the head of development for other organizations.

Janelle’s passion lies at the intersection of creativity and social impact.
