Elisabeth Horrell

UI Health

Elisabeth Horrell is the Executive Director of Donor Acquisition and Engagement for UI Health, the academic medical enterprise of the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). As part of UI Health’s Advancement team, she oversees the individual giving program and develops strategies to expand and sustain a strong base of support.

Prior to joining UI Health in 2023, Elisabeth served as Director of Donor Development for Orbis International. There, she led the design and implementation of individual giving and donor communication strategies in line with the organization’s growth plan, and drove forward its first multichannel campaigns in the U.S.

Elisabeth has also held fundraising, communications, and grant management roles with Northeast New Jersey Legal Services, The Salvation Army, VillageCare, and the CarePoint Health Foundation. She holds a B.S. in Professional and Technical Communication from the Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T.).
