With more than 30 years of experience helping NGOs generate engagement and revenue to support their missions, Steven is a communications and marketing strategist with deep campaign development and project management experience in nonprofit, agency, in-house corporate and consulting environments. He crafts and executes data-driven campaigns, using persuasive messaging and digital/print collateral to engage and inspire action.
Currently serving as the Director, Offline Marketing at USA for UNHCR, Steven leads the direct response marketing efforts across offline channels including direct mail, telemarketing, face-to-face fundraising and DRTV. In previous marketing and communications roles, he has worked in staff or consulting positions with many organizations across sectors including the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare, Animal Legal Defense Fund, Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and others.
Steven enjoys helping others professionally and personally, having previously served on the Board of Directors at Thrive DC (2014-2020), a DC homeless service organization, and enjoys spending time with his spouse and family as well as traveling the world.
