Chari Pere is an award-winning cartoonist whose heartfelt, funny, and relatable art tackles life’s most challenging topics. She is best-known for her groundbreaking "Unspoken" Cartoonmentary series, which gives a voice to women–and men–who have experienced the heartbreak of pregnancy loss and other reproductive health issues. The series has been endorsed by actress Mayim Bialik and celebrated on the festival circuit, and earned Chari the title of 2024 Artist of the Year from JewCE (the Jewish Comics Experience). Her broader career spans collaborations with Comedy Central, The Washington Post’s The Lily,
Mad Magazine, and #1 New York Times bestselling author Gretchen Rubin. As a mom, mental health advocate, and consummate storyteller, Chari brings her signature enthusiasm to every creative project, creating art that resonates deeply while fostering dialogue and connection.
