Sara Murphy

Sara is in her second year at the Michael J. Fox Foundation, where she leads a robust annual giving program that has more than doubled in the last 5 years. She has enjoyed her career as a development professional in Chicago for more than 20 years. Prior to joining MJFF, Sara served as Associate Vice President of Membership, Annual Giving, and Operations at the Chicago Botanic Garden, the Director of Annual Giving and Membership at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, and the Director of Individual Giving at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. Sara holds a BA in Theatre and English and a Masters of Science in Public Service Administration. In her free time Sara volunteers for Tree House Humane Society, sings in community choirs, and travels the world as a stage manager with Classical Kids Music Education, working with Symphonies and teaching children about classical music.
