Chief Development Officer
St. Labre Indian School
Rachel Earl is a CFRE and is the Chief Development Officer at St. Labre Indian School, a Pre-K-12th tuition-free private Catholic school and human service organization that serves nearly 500 Native American children and their families across 3 campuses in southeastern Montana. She is responsible for overseeing all fundraising activities on multiple channels including: direct response, mid-level, major and planned giving, and grant management, as well as active estate management and instilling an internal culture of philanthropy throughout the organization. She has worked in development at St. Labre for nearly 18 years, beginning in the donor database unit and quickly moving into leadership roles within the development department and the organization. Rachel leads the overall fundraising strategies, planning, budgeting and professional development for her team of 30+ employees. Prior to finding her fundraising passion, Rachel worked in the financial and insurance industries. She is well-respected by her peers and industry professionals alike, offering her no-nonsense and often non-traditional perspectives. (A true Montana girl!) She encourages bold thinking to achieve the desired results and rarely passes up the opportunity to explore new ideas and methods of fundraising.
