Sadé Dozan (she/her/ella) is the Vice President of Advancement at Borealis, where she is committed to developing resources for those at the core of social movements. Her work centers on using philanthropy as a vehicle for community-led activation and change, with a focus on storytelling and narrative saturation through an organizing lens. Before joining Borealis, Sadé was a nonprofit leader working across various movements, including housing, care, disability, education, health equity, and criminal justice reform. She brings an intersectional outlook and abundance-minded approach to her work. In her previous roles, beyond fundraising and philanthropy engagement, Sade has overseen HR and implemented multi-market direct service programs. She has launched $30M+ campaigns and achieved budget growths of over 500%. She believes in sustainable growth as the foundation of true change. Sade is a community anchor, advising and holding board roles for key movement organizations and philanthropic institutions. She is also the founder of Melanate., an equity incubation project focusing on shifting supportive ecosystems in philanthropy and fundraising. A Brooklyn native, Sade earned her B.A. from Pace University and her M.P.A. from Metropolitan College of New York. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and Certified Crisis Counselor.
