She holds a Master’s in Philanthropy and Development from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, where her capstone research explored the risks and benefits of donor-centric versus community-centric fundraising in nonprofit communications. Her work emphasizes a balanced approach to ethical fundraising that celebrates the donor’s role while honoring the voices of beneficiaries.
In addition to her academic and professional achievements, Whitney brings a deep commitment to continuous learning and authentic leadership. She has worked closely with mentors like Rachel Muir, CFRE, and has been involved in major gift cultivation, stewardship, and digital marketing. She has also made significant contributions to integrating innovative technology solutions, such as Salesforce, to enhance donor experience through personalized communication strategies.
