International Justice Mission
Katrina Crandall serves on the U.S. Corporate & Government Partnerships team at International Justice Mission (IJM), a global organization that protects people in poverty from violence by combating trafficking and slavery. As Senior Lead for Business Development and U.S. Grants, Katrina guides proposal strategies, manages proposal development, and grows IJM's portfolio of grants from the U.S. Government, corporations, and U.S.-based foundations. As a lawyer, Katrina previously served as Legal Associate for ALIGHT, the Alliance to Lead Impact in Global Human Trafficking, where she connected human trafficking survivors to critical legal services. She also worked with The Healy+ Group, a safety and security firm, from 2015 to 2023. As Director of Operations & Associate Counsel, she oversaw the company’s business development, contracting, and project logistics starting from project inception. Katrina has specialized in public-private partnerships and business development for respected international nonprofit organizations. This featured working with global teams in the design of large-scale, multi-million-dollar funding proposals for U.S. and international government agencies at the Institute for Sustainable Communities, the United Nations Foundation, Conservation International, and World Wildlife Fund. Katrina received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Bryn Mawr College and her Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she was awarded dual certifications in Indigenous Peoples Law and Natural Resources Law.
