Director, Partner Engagement
International Justice Mission
Amanda Dempster, MDiv, serves as a Director of Partner Engagement at International Justice Mission (IJM), an organization dedicated to protecting people in poverty from violence across the world. For over a decade, she has been involved in ministry and education, serving as a pastor for a congregation in Rockville, Maryland and a professor and Dean of Undergraduate Studies at Shiloh University. For the past four years, Amanda has closely stewarded donors in their journey toward meaningful engagement with IJM. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology and Sociology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and a Master of Divinity from Shiloh University. In the fall of 2020, she received a Certificate in Professional Fundraising from Boston University and has since served as a facilitator for the program. Amanda’s background in ministry and education is a strong foundation for philanthropy, as she enjoys walking alongside donors and discovering their passions and interests.
