Jess Ray

Associate Director of Individual Giving
Adler Planetarium

Jess Ray is the Associate Director of Individual Giving at the Adler Planetarium, where she develops strategies to engage and steward a portfolio of donors contributing $250-$25,000 annually. In addition to her fundraising, she is leading the enterprise-wide implementation of Salesforce as the Adler's CRM, ensuring integration and adoption across teams. An experienced quantitative scientist, Jess has worked across academic, nonprofit, and cultural institutions. Before joining the Adler, she served as a Population Biologist at Lincoln Park Zoo and as a Research Technician at Northwestern University and the University of Illinois. Jess holds a B.S. in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois and a Master's in Applied Ecology from Stony Brook University.
