Coral Gardeners
Megan Den Herder has dedicated her career to conservation and fundraising for environmental causes. She currently serves as Head of Philanthropy for Coral Gardeners, a nonprofit organization that plants corals to restore degraded reefs in French Polynesia and beyond. Her broad experience in the environmental sector includes direct fundraising, marketing, and membership acquisition roles at global nonprofit institutions, including Wildlife Conservation Society, National Audubon Society, and The Nature Conservancy.
Megan holds a bachelor's degree in business from Calvin College; a certificate in wildlife studies from Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute; and a master's degree in nonprofit management from Columbia, where she also serves on faculty as Associate Instructor.
Megan lives in Cold Spring, N.Y., with her husband and young son. They enjoy hiking, baseball, and exploring the Hudson Valley.
